Our Mission Statement:
Rock and Roll Remembers is a non-profit foundation established to
aid and assist those within the history of the rock and roll genre
who, for whatever the reason, have fallen on hard times. Seeing a
void that needed to be filled, the establishment of this
organization and it’s charitable trust seemed imperative. There is
no retirement fund for rock and roll. There is no pension program
for those who have given their life, their talent, their art to the
music that has entertained billions around the world. It just seemed
wrong. To see a problem and do nothing to fix it is the worst of all
sins. And so we are here to lend aid, whenever possible and wherever
needed, to those who gave us relief from the realities of this world
through the gift of their talents. For them we want to say thank you
and let them know that Rock and Roll Remembers.
